Welcome to the web presentation of the new CD 'Fantasia Romantica' by the Dutch mandolinist Sebastiaan de Grebber.
Besides consisting of a variety of music written for or transcribed for the mandolin solo by o.a. Bach, Calace, Ranieri and Paganini, the recording also contains the premiere of two contemporary works; Diferencias by Victor Kioulaphides and The Gray Wolf, written for and dedicated to the performer.
It is Sebastiaan's great wish to pass on his passion for the instrument to his audience, and through this CD display the versatility and beautiful sound of the mandolin.
